Born Nov. 20, 1916, in Holmesville, Ohio, she was the daughter of Jacob and Louise Ellen (Weaver) Roth. She resided most of her early years in Nelson before moving to Newbury in 1966. She later lived in Phoenix, Ariz., for 16 years, returning to Ravenna in 1982.

She was the granddaughter of Jacob Roth and Barbara (Weaver) Roth.

Mrs. Sedivy was a cook for Hiram College for many years.

She was a member of Nelson United Methodist Church, Nelson Ladies L.M.C. and she was a Rebekah Star.

She enjoyed quilting, playing cards, and gardening.

Her husband, Otto Sedivy; daughters Evelyn Sayre and Bonita Little; grandson Jeffrey Lallathin; and sisters, Margaret, Barbara, Donna Jean, Ethel Mae, and Eunice, died previously.

Visitation will be held from 7 p.m. until services at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Maplewood Christian Church, 7300 S.R. 88, Ravenna. Burial will be in Harrington Cemetery in Nelson.
