Died In The West.
Died, Saturday, February 6th, 1892, at the residence of his son, Denton C. Hays, Esq., of Noblesville, Indiana, after a sickness of three weeks, Leven Hays, aged 91 years and 3 months. The funeral, which was a large one, took place on Sunday at 2 o'clock, the remains being interred in the cemetery there, Rev. C. Hudson officiating, and Mr. Locke undertaker. The bearers were Captain Boone, Messrs. Caylor, Ruedal, Dill, Hare and Wright. Deceased was formerly a resident of Wolfsville neighborhood, and three sons, John O. Allen and H. Clay and two daughters reside in that vicinity.
