IN HARTWELLVILLE

Prominent Resident and
Former Readsboro Sheriff
Was Veteran of Civil War.

H. K. Wilson, 82, for nearly 40 years a prominent resident of Hartwellville and Readsboro, Vt., died at his home in the former town last evening after an extended illness. Mr. Wilson was born in Fitzwilliam, N. H., and moved to Readsboro when a young man and for a number of years was sheriff there. About three years ago he made his home in Heartwellville where he had since lived. He was a Civil War veteran and one of Heartwellville's oldest and best known residents. He is survived by no near relatives but leaves a number of nephews and nieces in Heartwellville and Readsboro.

The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Heartwellville Baptist church with interment in the family lot in the cemetery in that town.
