Michael A. Logan

LAWRENCE — Mr. Michael A. Logan, a lifelong resident of Lawrence, died Sunday morning, March 21, 2010 in the Fairhaven Healthcare Center in Lowell, surrounded by his family.

Born in Methuen, he was the son of Irene (Jean) Logan of Lawrence and the late Andrew Logan. He received his education in the Lawrence school system.

An honorably discharged veteran, Mike proudly served his country during the Vietnam era as a member of the United States Navy, serving aboard the USS Ranger. He earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal with a Bronze Star for his bravery and honorable service to his country.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sisters, Diane Hatem and husband, Steven of Salem, N.H., Jo Ann Meli and husband Vincent of Methuen, and Shelly Hart and husband Thomas of East Hampstead, N.H.; one brother, Steven Logan of Manchester, N.H. Michael also leaves Jimi, Katie, Chris, Nachele, George, Jessica, Jennifer, Amanda, Cody, Tyler, Zaniah, Andrew, Maya and Lila, who all loved their uncle very much.
