She was born in Tippah County, daughter of the late Robert S. and Sally Booker Cater, and was a member of Mt Moriah Baptist Church. Services were October 31 at 1 pm in McBride Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Ripley Cemetery. Bro Billy Foley and Bro Bill Colter officiated. Survivors include one son, Robert S. Clark, Memphis; one daughter, Sarah Whitman, Ripley; one brother, Lewis Carter, Ripley; one sister, Mrs. J.E. McGuire, Columbia, TN; 6 grandchildren; 9 ggrandchildren. Her husband was the late J.G. Clark. Pallbearers were Gerald Brown, Billy collier, Pete Larson, Joe Lynn Clark, Randy Clark and Robert Clark Jr.
