Age 83, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010 at home. She was born July 30, 1926 in Cap de la Madeleine, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Elias and Lucienne (Chenevert) Pepin. On April 30, 1949, she married Ben Franklin Bailey in Ypsilanti and he survives. Adrienne was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Whittaker, where she was very active. She worked for Eastern MI University as an executive secretary for thirty years, retiring in 1989. In addition to her loving husband of 61 years, survivors include: one daughter, Suzanne (Thomas) Moore of Tecumseh; two sons, Dennis (Sharon) Bailey of Ypsilanti and Tim (Kathy) Bailey of Dearborn; nine grand-children; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. The funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday June 29, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 9425 Whittaker Road, Whittaker with Fr. Edmond Ertzbischoff as celebrant. Cremation will follow with burial of cremains in St. Joseph Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Envelopes are available at Stark Funeral Service where the family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Monday with the rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. There will also be visitation at the church from 9:30 a.m. Until time of mass Tuesday.
