Cheryl A. Baetsle,36, of New Jersey, formerly of Mishawaka, Ind., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 9, in New Jersey.
She was born Oct. 19, 1966, to August E. Baetsle and Roberta J. (Campbell) Baetsle, who survives. She is also survived by her sisters, Joanne Rendall, diane Wittendorf and Suzanne Scheller; a brother, Brian Baetsle; her grandmother, Mary Jane Baetsle; and by seven nephews and four nieces.
Cheryl graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1985. She served in the U.S. Navy from 1985 to 1991. Part of her active duty in the Navy was served on the USS Yosemite and the USS Simon Lake. She graduated from Washburn University in Topeka, Kan., with an associate's degree in 1994. Cheryl's life was one of joy, courage, determination and faith.
The family will receive their friends in the Bubb Funeral Chapel. 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 1p.m. until the time of the services at 3p.m. Interment will follow the services Saturday at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
