Pauline Etheline Calloway, 80, of Kistler, departed this life at Trinity Healthcare of West Logan Thursday, February 12, 2009, following an extended illness.

Born January 4, 1929, at Braeholm, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Isabelle Calloway of Kistler. Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Gus Calloway, Robert Calloway and John Calloway, and one sister, Alice Calloway.

Pauline was a homemaker and loved to attend the church services at Trinity Healthcare. In recent years, she attended services at Pathway Church of Kistler.

Survivors include one brother, Stanley David (Clotte) Calloway of Detroit, Mich.; two sisters, Nellie Calloway of Detroit and Elaine Morris of Oklahoma; a cousin, Mary Hunt of Aracoma; three close friends, Roy and Barbara Maynor and children of Mallory and Annette Maxwell, who cared for her at Trinity Healthcare, as well as a host of family and friends.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, at the Pond Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Pollard officiating. Burial will follow at Guyan Memory Gardens at Godby.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pond Funeral Home of Aracoma is in charge of the arrangements.
