She was born Sept. 29, 1895 in Fugit Township of Decatur County, the daughter of Clarence W. and Emma Carr Linville. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Greensburg. She was married to Bernie H. Humphrey Aug. 14, 1920 in Greensburg, and he preceded her in death Aug. 13, 1981. For the past 25 years she had resided at 6 Meadow Court.
She is the last of her immediate family, and is survived by one nephew, Harold Linville, Greensburg; two nieces, Anna Linville Hicks, Greensburg, and Esther Linville England, Greenfield, Ind.; one great-nephew and one great-niece.
She was preceded in death by one son, James Robert Humphrey; three brothers, Claude, Charles and Bernie Linville, and one sister, Diane L. Barlow.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, Greensburg.
Burial will be in the Clarksburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
