Conrad I Thompson, 89, Fergus Falls MN died ov. 29, at the Broen Home, Fergus Falls. Services will be at Swan Lake Church and burial in the church cemetery.

He was one of seven children of Nels and Wilhelmina (Bondy) Thompson. He was born Nov 23, 1896 in Dane Prairie Township, Otter Tail COunty. He was baptized and confirmed at Swan Lake Church. He attended School District No 81. He later attended Park Region College. He married Lizzie Clauson on March 4, 1918 in Dalton. She died March 7, 1982.

After serving in the U.S. Army during World War I, he returned to Dalton where he operated a restaurant. He moved to Dane Prairie Township in 1925 where he owned and operated the C.I. Thompson Foundry. In 1943 he moved to Fergus Falls and worked for the Fergus Falls FOundry. He moved to Moorhead in 1946 where he worked as an independent carpenter and cement mason. He retired in the early 1960s and moved to Erhard. In 1980 he moved to the River Bend Apartments in Fergus Falls.

Survivors include two daughters, Ethel Cowan, Fergus Falls and Mrs Horace (Dorothy) Moody, Glendale, CA; two sons, Milo of Fergus Falls and Roger of Underwood; one brother, Kermit of Cormorant Lake, 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
