Son of Albert M. Stevenson and Edna Stokes Stevenson who resided in New Castle County, Delaware during the war.

Julien served as a Private, 10th Infantry, 5th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II. It is unknown at this time if he also resided in Delaware with his parent's or not.

He enlisted in the Army on Janaury 3, 1944 in Richmond, Virginia. He was noted as being employed as a Welder and also as being Single, without dependents.

He was "Killed In Action" in eastern France during the war.

He had served in the Army for eight months and was decorated with a Purple Heart.
