Raymond knew the importance of work. His family of origin strived and succeeded against great difficulty by embracing that ethos. His marriage to Jasmine Margurite Porter produced six children.
He was preceded in death by his son Carl. He is survived by four daughters and one son, thirteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Raymond's great effort at the end of his life was to set his house in order. For that we are grateful. His last wish was to have his son Thomas stand in a circle of blessing so that he could move on.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 28, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street (100 East), where there will be viewings held on Sunday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
Interment: Midvale City Cemetery.
