Funeral services will be at 3 pm Monday at the Little Chapel of the Chimes for Oscar August Anderson, 4525 NE Killingsworth. Burial will be at Rose City Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson who died Friday at Providence Hospital, was 83.
He was born in Säby, Jönköping, Sweden and came to Oregon in 1897. For 45 years he was a foreman at the Crown Mills. He retired in 1952.
Mr. Anderson was a member of Samaritan Lodge No. IOOF, Columbia Rebekah Lodge No. 3 and the American Federation of Grain Millers.
Survivors include the widow, Dortha; two daughters, Mrs. Florence Hill of San Francisco and Mrs. Evelyn Connell of Castro Valley, Calif; a son, Oscar Anderson of Seattle; and two grandchildren.
