'Artie Adair, son of Thomas and Laura Moore was born on August 18, 1903, at Gaither, Arkansas. He was a farmer and an electrician. He was employed by the Turney Wood Products until he retired in 1969. He married Irma Caroline Inman, daughter of Charles and Mary Nixon Inman on April 1, 1933. Irma was born January 24, 1915, and was reared in the Lick Branch community near Alpena, Arkansas. Artie and Irma lived on a farm in south Boone County from 1933 to 1942. They moved to Harrison, Arkansas, in 1942. Irma was employed as an Elementary School Principal in the Harrison Public Schools for thirty-eight years and six years in the Boone County Schools. They are members of the First Christian Church at Harrison, Arkansas. They had one son, Charles David Adair, born October 10, 1938.'
