Effie Viola Rosengren was born in Weston, Saunders, Nebraska. She was a teacher of 1st and 2nd grade students in Boyd County Nebraska. She married Floyd Grable on July 16, 1917 in Winner, Trip County, Nebraska. Effie and Floyd had two daughters, Doris Maxine and Theda Eileen. She passed away from inter-abdominal cancer (possibly) ovarian, in 1970. She was ill for about 2 months prior to her passing. She had 4 grandchildren: Sandra Sue Cunningham, Kathleen Ann Cunningham, Thomas Jay Malowney and Laura Malowney. She was a member and active in Central United Presbyterian Church of Omaha Nebraska. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She is greatly missed.
