RAYMOND ELLSWORTH BUSSARD, 76, of 12910 Salem Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at the Washington County Hospital.
Born June 29, 1929 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Otto B. and Minnie K. Dunn Bussard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy May Bussard on September 26, 1988.
He retired from the City of Hagerstown where he was employed for thirty years.
He attended the Pentecostal church.
He is survived by one daughter, Debra Flook of Myersville, Maryland; one son, Gary Lee Bussard of Hagerstown; one step-daughter, Darlene Metz of Falling Waters, West Virginia; three sisters, Betty Manspeaker, and Peggy Mowen, both of Hagerstown, and Jeanette Carpenter of Winchester, Virginia; two brothers, Dick Bussard, and Ronnie Bussard, both of Hagerstown; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Bussard and Grover Bussard.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Jeff Summers and Rev. Eric Fraley will officiate. Burial will be in Broadfording Memorial Gardens.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
