DAVID SPEHEGER DIES WEDNESDAY
VERA CRUZ GROCERY STORE OPERATOR DIED AT AGE OF 49
Bluffton, Oct. 31.-David R. Speheger, 49, 122 East Silver Street., well-known young businessman, died at 3:45 Thursday morning at the Wells County Hospital. Death was attributed to a heart ailment and complications. He had been ill six weeks.
Mr. Speheger was born Dec. 5, 1902, in Lancaster Township to Benjamin and Eliza Dubach Speheger. His marriage to Mary Plummer took place March 26, 1933 in Fort Wayne.
He operated a grocery store and gas station at Vera Cruz.
Surviving in addition to the wife is a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Speheger and a son, David Harold Speheger, both at home; six sisters, Mrs. John Frauhiger, Mrs. Irene Meyer and Mrs. Homer Clark of Bluffton, Mrs. Theo Beer of Milford, Mrs. Forest Fitzman of Akron, O., and Mrs. Earl Corg of Goshen, and four brothers, Lewis, Charles, Walter and Roy Speheger, all of Bluffton. One brother, Dr. Benjamin Speheger is deceased.
