Mildred was the proud mother of 3 boys, Walter, Francis, and Donald. She married Frederick Lloyd Boettcher 10/31/1917 in Davenport, Scott County, IA; divorced. She married Albin G. Lantz 5/03/1950 in Scott County, IA. She is the daughter of the late Arthur and Hattie (Campbell) Warner.

Davenport - Mrs. Mildred Florine Lantz of 302 Kirkwood Blvd., Davenport, became the city's 12th auto fatality of the year when she died last evening of injuries sustained in a four-car crash Sunday.

She was driving a car which collided with a taxi at Main and 14th Sts., and then caromed off and struck two other parked cars.

Police said the accident was triggered by the snow-packed streets.

Mrs. Lantz was the owner and operator of the Lantz Convalescent Home, Davenport. The former Mildred Boettscher was married to Albin Lantz on Feb. 3, 1950, in Davenport. She was a resident of Davenport and Bettendorf for the last 50 years.

Surviving are the widower; two sons, W. E. "Gene" Boettcher, Davenport, and F. E. "Mike" Boettcher, Moline; a stepson, Lester Lantz, Glen Ellyn; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Doris Douglas, Lake Forest, and Mrs. Barbara Rakow, Dundee; nine grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Hugo Wolff, Davenport, and a brother, Dayton Warner, Chicago Heights.

Arrangements are pending at the Mcginnis Funeral Home, Davenport.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred F. Lantz, 61, of 302 Kirkwood Blvd., who died Friday of injuries suffered in a four-car crash in Davenport on Wednesday, will be held at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon in the McGinnis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
