Services for Mrs. Kathleen Chance 80, 5 E.Grant St. will be at 10:a.m. Thursday in Butcher Funeral Home in Knightstown with Pastor Robert E. Berkebile officiating. Buriel will be in Glen Cove Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Chance died Sunday afternoon at New Castle Healthcare Center after having been ill for six years. She was born Jan. 30, 1901 in Knightstown. She was a member of Knightstown United Methodist Church.
Survivors are three sons, John McCorkhill of R.3 Rushville: James McCorkhill of Muncie and Richard McCorkhill of Ohio: a daughter, Mrs. Helen Gay of West Virginia: three step-sons, Roscoe Chance of Connersville, Ora Chance of Knightstown and Alvin Chance of Rushville:
three step-daughters, Edith Doll of Dublin, Ethel Hinton of Alvin Texas and Nora Minyard of New Castle: 18 grandchildren: 22 great-grandchildren: several stepgrandchildren and great-stepgrandchildren.
