LEOMINSTER - Ellen C. (Moore) Brown, 94, of Leominster, died Monday, June 14, 2010, in HealthAlliance Hospital/Leominster.

Mrs. Brown was born on June 15, 1915, in Woodward County, Okla., the daughter of Grant and Elmancie (Link) Moore and had lived in Leominster for over 70 years.

She attended Pilgrim Congregational Church in Leominster and was a former president of the Leominster Homemakers.

Mrs. Brown enjoyed rug making, crafts, gardening and traveling with her husband in their camper.

She is survived by two daughters, Lema M. Gaul and her husband, Thomas, of Bedford and Linda E. Cormier and her husband, Paul, of Leominster; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger M. Brown in 2002 and her son, Roger B. Brown in 1966.

A funeral service will be held Friday, June 18, at 11 a.m. in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Montachusett Home Care Corp., 680 Mechanic St., Leominster, MA 01453 or HealthAlliance-Leominster Hospital, 60 Hospital Road, Leominster, MA 01453.
