Wendell graduated from:
Stafford (Ks.) High School, 1915
University of Colorado in Boulder, 1927 (LLB Degree)
Veteran of Service during World War I: Band Unit, 137th Regiment, 69th Infantry Brigade, 35th Division.
He played trumpet in the band and was stretcher-bearer in the trench warefare in the Argonne battles. He also served in the Vosques Mountain area and Verdun. After Armistace he remained in France to play trumpet in the Missouri-Kansas Minstrel Show of the 35th Division Troup.
Law Practice:
Ulysses, Kansas (1927-63)
He retired to Lampe, Missouri to enjoy fishing in the many lakes of that area.
