Funeral plans for Luther Murray Davis will be announced by Dunbar Funeral Home. Mr. Davis, 74, of 221 Hudson St., West Columbia, died yesterday in Columbia Hospital. Mr. Davis was a member of South Belt Line Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Viola Bell Davis; a daughter, Mrs. Zora Jeffords of Cayce; a son, James T. Davis of Columbia; four stepsons, George Wilbur Bell of Pelion, Cecil, Ernest and Allen Bell of West Columbia; and two brothers, Gordon Davis of Columbia and George Davis of Washington, D.C. © The Record, Columbia, SC, 16 Feb 1970
Funeral services for Luther Murray Davis will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Donald Burnett. Burial will be in Lybrand Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Earl Davis, Marcus Davis, Ronald Gene Jeffers, Murray Edward Jeffers, Thomas E. Jeffers, Larry W. Price, James T. Davis Jr. and Robert Jones.
