Mr. Arroyo, 57, was claimed by death at 10:40 p.m. Monday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.
A farm worker, he had resided in Crosbyton community for 14 years. He was a member of St. Joseph´s Catholic Church.
Mr. Arroyo was born August 6, 1917 at Brownsville. He and Miss Lenor Olivarez were married 38 years ago in Plainview.
Survivors include the wife, Lenor; five sons, Luis Arroyo Jr., Juan Arroyo and Genaro Arroyo, all of Crosbyton, Salome Arroyo of Bastrope, and Daniel Arroyo of Lubbock; two daughters, Mrs. Maria Fira of Ennis and Mrs. Susana Rios of Dallas; one brother, Jesus Arroyo of Sinton; two sisters, Mrs. Elva Murillo of Crosbyton and Mrs. Elida Ancira of Denver City; and 11 grandchildren.
