Earl Francis Brazeau age 83, of Niagara, Wisconsin, died Sunday October 24, 2004, at a place he loved, his cabin on the Stonington Peninsula.

He was born March 28, 1921, in Marquette, Michigan, the son of the late Joseph Brazeau and Malvina (Gendron) Brazeau. He was a graduate of L'Anse, MI, High School.

He married Elizabeth "Jane" LaCosse and she preceded him in death in September of 1994.

He married Jeanette (DeNell) on October 31, 1998.

He was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army from June 6, 1944 to January 18, 1946, when he was honorably discharged.

Earl Brazeau was a member of St. Anthony's church in Niagara. He also was a lifetime member of the VFW, a member of Local 324, Operating Engineers, National Rifle Association and Boilermakers International. Earl was in administration and was a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors included his wife Jeanette Brazeau, two sons Douglas (Gail) Brazeau of Ishpeming, MI, William (Susan) Brazeau of Carlsbad, CA, seven daughters Debbie (Terry) Bittner of Bark River, MI, Barbara Caswell (Jack) of Gladstone, MI, Laurie (Doug) Morin of Niagara, WI, Dorothy (Marty) Karjala of Gakona, AK, Dana (Chick) Tonge of Champion, MI, Patricia (Darrel) Rundle of Eau Claire, WI, and Pamela Wittock (Dave) of Niagara, WI, loving grandchildren and three great grand children.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, and one daughter Earlene.

Earl was very loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He always had time to listen. He was an avid sportsman and was well read. He was a very handy person and could always solve a problem. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
