ABEL, Mr. William Lee. Passed on in his 81st year Monday, Feb. 25, 1963, at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. Family residence 2713 Pindell Ave.

Beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Helen Abel (nee Mattingly). Devoted father of Mrs. Cyril (Mary V) Shadowen, Mrs. John H. (Dorothy) Mittel, Jr., Sr. Mary Eugene, R.S.M., Mrs. William R. (Betty) Roberts, Mrs. William L. (Louise) Sharp, and Messrs. William G. of Lexington, Mass., James R. of Ravenswood, W. Va., and Joseph C. and Louis C. Abel of Tujunga, Calif. Loving brother of Mrs. Emma Johnson of Salem, Ohio and Mr. Elisha M. Abel. Also survived by twenty-two grandchildren.

Services will be conducted Thursday morning at 8:30 in the Godfrey F. Russman & Son Funeral Home, 1041 Goss Ave. and 9 o'clock in St. Stephen Martyr Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Men of the parish will please assemble in Russman's at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to pray the rosary.
