Funeral services for Charles Daniel Morris, age 31, were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 1988 in St. John The Baptist Episcopal Church with the Reverend Ned Creswell, Vicar and the Rev. Evans Moreland of Amarillo, officiating. Interment was in Citizens Cemetery with arrangement under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors.

Mr. Morris died at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 1988 at his family's ranch 12 miles north-east of Clarendon. He was born July 31, 1956 in Amarillo and had lived in Donley County for 5 years before returning to Amarillo 1 year ago. He was a student at Amarillo College.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Morris of Amarillo; one sister, Lou Bettes of Dallas; and one brother, Jim Morris of Houston.

Casket bearers were Walley Bettes, Jim Morris, Rodney Watson, Ronnie Sims, Steve Chilton and Greg Smith.
