Evans Moreland of Amarillo, officiating. Interment was in Citizens Cemetery with arrangement under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors.
Mr. Morris died at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 1988 at his family's ranch 12 miles north-east of Clarendon. He was born July 31, 1956 in Amarillo and had lived in Donley County for 5 years before returning to Amarillo 1 year ago. He was a student at Amarillo College.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Morris of Amarillo; one sister, Lou Bettes of Dallas; and one brother, Jim Morris of Houston.
Casket bearers were Walley Bettes, Jim Morris, Rodney Watson, Ronnie Sims, Steve Chilton and Greg Smith.
