ROGERSVILLE — Lois Evelyn Caldwell, 78, of Rogersville, went home to be with her Jesus after a long and brave battle with cancer on Tuesday (June 22, 2010) at home.
She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church and was a lifelong resident of Rogersville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Blanchard Rosen and Mollie McLain Cradic; and five brothers, Dallas Cradic, Doyle Cradic, Asa Cradic, Everett Cradic and R.B. Cradic.

Lois is survived by her husband, Donald W. Caldwell, of the home; son, Larry W. Caldwell and wife, Betty, of Rogersville; four daughters, Lillian Caldwell, of Indiana, Dana Rhoton and husband, Harold, of Rogersville, Sharry Chaney and husband, Brian, of In- diana, and Jennifer Tengroth and husband, David, of Fall Branch; seven grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren; sister, Ruth Ramey and husband, Jack, of Indiana; three brothers, Donald Cradic and wife, Patsy, of Church Hill, Ezra Cradic and wife, Betty, of Indiana and Ulysses Cradic and wife, Jeanie, of Mooresburg; several nieces, nephews; and a long extended family who loved her and whom she loved in return, and several precious aunts and an uncle on the McLain side of the family.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Colboch-Price Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Brian Thurman, the Rev. John Cradic and the Rev. Donald Cradic officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Long's Bend Cemetery. Colboch-Price Funeral Home in Rogersville is honored to be serving the Caldwell family.
