She attended school in Rogers, Texas, and moved to Bloomfield in 1968, where she was employed by the City of Bloomfield.
She enjoyed working at the VFW in Aztec, and her dog, Duchess.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, TP Johnson and Dale Rainbolt; and sons, Stephen Johnson and Michael Rainbolt.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Carey of Farmington; son, Pete Johnson of Burleson, Texas; sister, Isla Faye Johnson of Silver City; stepchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Rainbolt of Keokuk, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Angelo (Kathy) Montoya of Farmington, Mr. and Mrs. Andy (Lynda) Kerr of Kahoka, Mo., and Mr. and Mrs. Jim (Paula) Yount of Flourissant, Mo.; and by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at noon today, Friday Jan. 15, at VFW Post No. 614, 201 S. Park Ave., in Aztec.
Inurnment will be at a date to be announced later.
