Bonnie Lou Peterson, 64, of DePere, WI, formerly of Alston, MI, and Niagara, WI, passed away Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at Ledgeview Nursing Center, DePere, WI.

The former Bonnie Lantagne was born on Dec. 10, 1943, in Iron Mountain, MI, daughter of the late Mitchell Lantagne and Clarice (Bourassa) Lantagne. She attended Niagara High School until 1961, and graduated from Clovis High School in Clovis, NM.

Bonnie Petersopn was a loving wife and mother of four children. She enjoyed doing many types of crafts but loved birds most of all. Bonnie was a selfless person, always putting others before herself and was loved by all who knew her.

She was survived by her husband, Pat David Peterson; three daughters, Lolita (Rick) Slafter, Racine, WI, Robin Peterson, Columbia, MD, and Ava (Robert) Blair, Manassas, VA; five brothers; two sisters; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; and the extended family of her late son, Todd, the Simmons family.

Bonnie Peterson was preceded in death by two sons, Kevin Scott Peterson and Todd David Peterson; and her father and mother-in-law, Bill Harju and Eva Harju.
