Since Elizabeth died in Massachusetts around the time Peleg was serving there in the War of 1812, she was probably buried there first and re-interred with him later in First Hopkinton Cemetery, Hopkinton, Washington County, Rhode Island. Either that, or the marker bearing her name on the stone with Anna's is just a memorial to her."
