BOYETTE, Asa Marlin, 81, Ripley, died March 22, 1979 in Tippah County Hospital. He was a member of West Ripley Baptist Church, retired from Tippah Wholesale Co. Services were March 23 at 2 pm in McBride Funeral Home Chapel with burial in New Salem Cemetery. Rev Bill Bell officiated. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Dora Boyette, Ripley; three sons, James M. Boyette, Holly Springs, Marlin Boyette Jr, Ripley and Bobby Joe Boyette, Tupelo; seven daughters, Valeria Huddleston, Houston, TX, Pernie Van Demark, Scottville,MI, Heidi Dalton, Corinth, Natalie Grisham, Shirley Conely, Patricia Stricklin, all of Ripley and Margaret Duncan, Tupelo; one half-brother, Franklin Hamm, Ashland; one half-sister, Mrs. C.A. Seals, Memphis; 25 grandchildren; 16 ggrandchildren. Pallbearers were Mitch Conely, Bert Conely, Bart Conely, Lynn Grisham, Mike Boyette, Alan Boyette, Mark Boyette,Kent Conely and Scott Stricklin.
