Mr. Iiams was a repairman at the General Motors Leeds assembly plant before he retired. He was a member of Local 93 of the United Auto Workers and its retirees club. He was a Baptist, a Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy H. Iiams of the home; a daughter, Dorothy Murphy, Harrisonville; a sister, Clara L. Davis, Schoolcraft, Michigan; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City. Friends may call from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. today at the Park Lawn Chapel.
