A farmer and operator of Norris Dairy Farms, Eugene W. "Red' Norris, 72, of Markle, died Tuesday, July 5, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. He was an Army veteran and a member of Bluffton American Legion Post 111, Bluffton.Born Dec. 26, 1932, in Fort Wayne, his marriage was to Elizabeth Scherrer who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Danny and David Norris, both of Markle, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, Ossian, where the funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday with Rev. Jerry Blanchard officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are to Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
