Martha Louise Tubbe Adams, age 81, of Nacogdoches passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010, in Nacogdoches. Louise was born Oct. 31, 1928, in Nacogdoches as a daughter of the late Ella Boatman and Louis Tubbe. She was a member of Old North Baptist Church and the ladies auxiliary of VFW Post 3893. She was active in the county extension service and grand champion of home canning awards for 11 years at the county fair. In later years, Mrs. Adams enjoyed painting. She took great joy in cooking for her family and will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Survivors include a son, Frank Adams and wife, Judy, of Mesquite; daughter, Mary Arnold and husband, Bobby, of Nacogdoches; daughter-in-law, Linda Adams of El Campo; grandchildren, Jonathan Adams and wife, Michelle, Steven Adams, Micah Adams and wife, Kristy, Greg Arnold, Shelly, Jill Janik and husband, David, Amanda Adams, Laura Adams, and Jimmy Adams; a sister, Carolyn Rogers; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Berdine Adams; and sons, Michael Adams and Robert Adams. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Sunset Memorial Park, Nacogdoches, with Bro. Dock Lazarine officiating.
