She was born to Lilly and Jules Vinck in Texarkana. Lillian was a lifelong resident of Bowie County and retired from Red River Arsenal in the 1970's. She attended Texarkana schools and was a member of the Chapelwood Methodist Church(previously the Nash Methodist Church) since 16 where she was an Adult Sunday School Teacher for many of these years.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Thomas E Brower, her son, Roger( wife Carol)Brower of Ridgway, Colorado and a brother, Minor Vinck(wife Ruth) of Shreveport, Louisiana and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, George Vinck(wife Doris) in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Her calming hand and gentle heart will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
A grave side service will be held on Thursday, June 17th at 1pm at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens on Kings Highway under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
