ODESSA, TX - Manuel Ralph Woods Jr., 62, of Claremore, OK., passed away at his home on August 22, 2009.

Services were held Monday, June 21, 2010, at Acres West Funeral Chapel in Odessa with Roy Jones officiating. Interment followed at Ector County Cemetery.

Mr. Woods was born October 31, 1946 to Jane (Jordan) Woods and Ralph Woods Sr. in Odessa, TX. He enlisted in the Navy in 1964 and later worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a carrier in Odessa and Monahans. Upon retirement from the Postal Service, Mr. Woods moved to Claremore. He married Carroll Burch on January 2, 2002.

He is preced in death by his father, and one sister, Nancie Choate.

Survivors include his wife, Carroll Woods of Claremore, OK; mother, Jane Woods of Odessa; daughters, Dawn Kiser of Jasper and Elizabeth Metz of Houston; son, Cliff Woods of Odessa; brother, Len Jordan of Austin; and seven grandchildren also survive.
