Mrs. Lillie M. Shores
Mrs. Lillie May Shores, 67, of 2208 Marshall, died about 9 a.m. today at Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient one week.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Harper-Swickard funeral home in Charleston with Dr. A. Mont Massey officiating.
Burial will be in Janesville cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Mrs. Shores was born June 20, 1900, in Grayson County, Ky., a daughter of Henry W. and Sarah Hack Moss.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Sarah Grubb, Momence; three sons, Harold and Shelby, both of Mattoon, and Raymond, Joliet; a sister, Mrs. Earl (Lucille) Rawley, Louisville, Ky.; a brother Everett Moss, Louisville, Ky.; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the baptist Church at Louisville, Ky., and Elect Lady Chapter No. 40 Order of Easter Star in Mattoon.
