Final rites were held in the Schaetter Funeral Home on Saturday, July 14, 1951, at 2:30pm for Felix Reinhold Duecker. The Rev G A Poehlmann officated. A duet sang two songs in the funeral home. Interment was in the City Cemetery.
Duecker succumbed in a Blanco hospital on Thursday, July 12 at 4:20pm. At the time of his death, he had attained the age of 40 years, 7 months and 25 days.
He was born on November 17, 1910 in Gillespie Couty, the son of Reinhold and Amalia Doell Duecker. Survivors include the parents, Mr and Mrs Reinhold Duecker of Fredericksburg; brothers Paul of Johnson City, Walter and Monroe Duecker and sister, Ernestine, Mrs. Oswald Eckhardt, all of Fredericksburg.
