Bowie, Texas, July 20, 1942 - Funeral services for Mrs. Dicie Williams, 55, were held from the family residence here Sunday afternoon. The Rev. A.J. Quinn, Baptist minister officiated and interment was in the Elmwood Cemetery under the directions of the Owens and Brumley Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Bert Lancaster, Roy Price, Huff Cloer, Jess Elliott, Tom Lindsey and Cecil Gibson.

Mrs. Williams died Saturday after an illness of several months. She was a native of Sevier County, Tenn., and came to Texas at the age of 13 with her parents Mr. and Mrs. William Huskey. For the last 41 years she has made her home in or near Bowie. Survivors include her husband Babe Williams, whom she married June 21, 1938 and the following five brothers: Dan Huskey of Tennessee, G.M. Huskey of Ryan, Okla., D.B. Huskey of Waurika, Okla., J.A. Huskey of Newport and H.M. Huskey of Bowie.
