Jacob Mirsberger, one of the best known farmers of Elkhart Lake, died Tuesday, December 17 at his home, after a long illness.
In his death, Elkhart Lake loses one of its best known citizens, a man of sterling character and ever kind and ready to do things for others. He conducted a farm which was up to the minute and as long as health permitted enjoyed laboring on it.
He was well-known throughout the county and vicinity and his demise will be deeply mourned by a large circle of friends.
Mr. Mirsberger was born in the town of Rhine, May 9, 1863 and had reached the age of 55 years. May 13, 1890, he was married to Miss Roeder, who survives him.
The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning, Rev. Huepper of the Catholic church of Elkhart Lake officiating. Burial will be made in St. Ann.
