Henry Carter Cribb, 75, of Rt. 2, Willacoochee, died Tuesday, June 16, 1998, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas. He was born on April 23, 1923, in Berrien County to Walter Lee Cribb and Mary Lilly Willis Cribb. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. He was a Navy Veteran and served in World War II.
Survivors are his wife, Clara Belle Hayes Cribb of Willacoochee; three daughters, Lavonya Stone of Alapaha, Ramona Langston of Tallahassee, FL and Nelda Flanders of Douglas; four sons, Wendell Lee Cribb of Tifton, Jerry Wayne Cribb, Hayward Carter Cribb and Terry Cribb all of Willacoochee; three sisters, Euretha Hughes and Othel Wilkerson, both of Nashville and Winnie Southwell of Moultrie; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Jackie Connell, the Rev. Clayton Davis and the Rev. Bobby Fussell will officiate. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today with the family receiving friends from 7-9 today. Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
