She will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her loving heart, and for spoiling her many, many grandchildren with endless love and affection.
Renee Marie was born February 8, 1934 in Vancouver, Washington to Royal James Evans Sullivan and Nellie Mae Cross. She grew up at Island Lake in Poulsbo, Washington.
She married Ronald McClellan on Nov 29, 1952 in Reno, Nevada. She was the mother of nine children.
She was preceded in death by two of her children, Jimmy and Cindy; brothers Clark Maxon, Len and Joe Sullivan; sister Ruth Sullivan Shields; and her best friends JoAnn Martiniez and Evie Park. She is survived by her children: Linda (Kelly Baker) Lee; LaRae Jones; Cathie Ericksen; Sandi (Tim) Best; Ronney; and Russel (Cori) McClellan, all of Salt Lake City; Cheryl 'Cheri' (David) Bosh of Seattle; eighteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; brother Bob Sullivan of San Jose; and beloved friend Alice Hansen.
She worked for many years as a Maintenance Supervisor at the Federal Court House, and prior to that at the downtown ZCMI Department Store. However, her strong work ethic could not match the tireless devotion she had for her huge family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in her memory at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 21, 2010 in St. Joseph's Villa Chapel (451 Bishop Federal Lane).
Interment will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery.
