Hamilton (Hammie)Mae Gore 87 Died at 2:pm Friday in
A DeQueen hospital after brief illness.
He was born Dec.18,1865 in Birmingham Alabama,
Hammie Gore came to Ark.in 1881 along with his father
and several brothers and sisters in A covered wagon
they settled in the Dillworth community or to be more
exact Stringtown.He was A member of the Cumberland
Presbyterian church at Dillworth,Ark.Survivors include his wife Nancy Elizabeth Gray Gore,four sons Earnest and Aldine Gore both of Stringtown,Ark. Alvin of DeQueen and Eugene of Royal Oak Mich.Six daughters, Mae & (Ellis)Adair,Maude & (Jim) Parker, both of DeQueen Irene & (Nat)Harrison of Lockesburg, Molein & (Robert)Zachry,Allene & (Floy) Harrison and Mellos & Fred Wall all from the Dillworth and Stringtown area; 34 Grandchildren,36 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Dillworth Cumberland Presbyterian Church,Burial will Follow in Millwee Cemetery.
