Ione G. Bunch,68, 2701 S. Madison St., died Wednesday in Ball Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Bunch was born in Summitville, attended Summitville schools, and graduated from Summitville High School in 1935. After graduation from high school, Mrs. Bunch moved to Gas City and about 35 years ago came to Muncie. At one time, Mrs. Bunch and her husband, Richard Bunch, owned and operated Skyline Restaurant on South Madison Street. Before then she had been employed at Milmar Ice Cream Store here, and Owens-Illinois in Gas City.
Surviving are three sisters,Pauline McKinney, Gas City, Dee Johnson, Muncie, and Katie Foy, Dayton, Ohio; two brothers, Jack Johnson, Alexandria, and Bruce Johnson, Summitville; two half-sisters, Jane O'Haver, Swayzee, and Barbara Easten, Bradenton, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Meeks Mortuary. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary 4-7 p.m. today or before services Friday.
