We lost Our Best Friend today, June 16th at 2:58 a.m. Steve Eugene Baxter, our beloved brother, our uncle, our friend, our hearts. Steve had a heart larger than life — he could never have known how much he really meant to us. We have loved and will always love him — until we meet again.
Steve will join his Mom and Dad and brother, Guy, now.
Steve leaves behind stepchildren, Hank Hedges and Heler Blackford; and stepgrandchildren that he so dearly loved; brothers and sisters, Phil and Tina Baxter, Donna and Dan Ellis, Linda Helms and Ruben Vincent, Mark Baxter, John Baxter, Ben and Kim Baxter, Lisa and Mike Higgins; endless nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; Aunt Marge, Aunt Annis, Aunt Irene and Uncle Bud; and very dear friends, Doris, Katie, Mary and Teri Grace.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, at Koehler Funeral Home-Boonville Chapel. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville. Friends may call Monday 2 until 8 p.m. and Tuesday 9 a.m. until service time at Koehler Funeral Home-Boonville Chapel.
