King C. Roy, Jamestown, died at 2 p.m. Tuesday (2-26-80) in Greenville Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 85.

Mr. Roy was born in Apollo, Pa., March 26,1894 to Robert and Anna Right Roy.

For many years he had been employed by the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus, and then for 35 years owned and operated the Jamestown Bait and Hatchery. He retired in 1960.

he was a member of State Line United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, the former Minnie B. Wiser, whom he married Dec. 8, 1926; five sons, Prince E., Raymond J., Russell E., and Larry L, all of Jamestown, and Richard C., Beaver, Pa.; four daughters, Mrs. Harold (Alice) Hoover, Mercer; Mrs. Ed (Helen G) Salisbury, Harker Heights, Texas; Mrs. Ray (Evelyn R.) Smith, Erie; and Mis Juana J. Roy at home; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
