Mrs. Poe was born in Konnarock, a daughter of the late Thomas and Hester Haga. She lived most of her life in the Bristol area, was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Fleet Wright; and a granddaughter, Teresa Helton.
Surviving are five sons, Ray Poe, Robert Poe, Barney Poe and Earl Poe, all of Bristol, and David Poe of Bluff City, Tenn.; five daughters, Ennis Wright of Mendota, Evalene Arnold and Christine Hudler, both of Abingdon, Pauline Bowman of Bluff City, Tenn., and Shirley O''Hara of Bristol, Tenn.; 37 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; four greatgreat-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Thursday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. in Grosses Creek Cemetery in Chilhowie with the Rev. Donald Denton officiating.
Weaver Funeral Home in Bristol was in charge of arrangements.
