Darrell Wayne Oram, 75 years of age, passed away,surrounded by his loving family.
He is the son of William Richard Oram and Verna Covington and was reared by his mother and step-father, Thomas Beasley, after his father's death. He graduated from Ogden High School in 1950. Darrell was stationed in Panama and Greenland, during the Korean War, from 1951 to 1954, as a communications chief in the U.S. Army.
He married Esther Elaine Johnson on March 3, 1954, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were married 47 years and the parents of six children. Elaine passed away in November of 2001.
He was employed at Hill Air Force Base where he retired as a section chief in 1987.
Darrell married Glenda Tulane on June 3, 2006. He was devoted to the Scouting program serving for 50 years and was honored as a Silver Beaver recipient.
Darrell is survived by his wife, brother, brother-in-law, his children, 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Elaine, and a grandson Karl David Oram.
