She grew up in Fairmont and attended school until she finished high school. She attended Peru State Teachers College and then taught school, first in a rural school near Fairmont, then at Walton, Neb.
She was married November 16, 1921 to George Jensen. They lived on a farm near Fairmont until 1938, when they moved to their present home in Fairmont.
Mrs. Jensen was active in the Mt. Moriah Chapter of Eastern Star and in Royal Neighbors and in her church, the present United Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband; her mother, Mrs. Ione Benway at Colonial Manor in Geneva; two sons and three daughters, Victor of Fairmont, Earl of Ft. Collins, Col., Dorothy, (Mrs. Jerold Fishel) of Salem, Ore., Loma (Mrs. Charles Taylor) of Salem Ore., and Marjorie (Mrs. Carl Swearingen) of Hastings; a sister, Mrs. C.W. Roback of Inland, Neb; 14 grandchildren and a niece and nephew.
Aside from her responsibilities t her family, and to her church and lodges, she enjoyed gardening and sewing.
Services were held in United Church of Christ Saturday afternoon. Rev. William Reitmeier officiating. Interment was in the Fairmont Cemetery.
