Edgar L. Sitz, Tampa, Fla., died Tuesday in Tampa. Survivors: son, Emmett B. Sitz; daughters, Mrs. Mildred Sitz Casson, Mrs. Lucille Sitz Smith, Mrs. Helen Sitz Smith and Mrs. Bernice Sitz Moore, all of Gadsden. Collier-Butler Funeral Home directing. Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Bethany Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Humphries officiating. Other survivors: sister, Mrs. Christine Sitz Godsby, Chattanooga; number of grandchildren.
Edgar was the son of Bedford Forest Sitz & Mollie A. Pettit.
Edgar and Verdie A. Bigham were married 4 Dec 1914 in Etowah County, AL, they divorced later.
